He’s trusted the wrong person. It has been his downfall, and the downfall of Camelot. The once shining towers are broken and lie in ruins, not unlike himself. Author’s Note: Written for a competition which I decided not to enter! Content Warnings: Allusion to war, allusion to child abandonment, temporary character death.

Fantasy / Witches	Hidden in Plain Sight	Series: Hidden in Summary: The fact is that most witches do not conform to the fairytale stereotype. Author’s Note: Written for a recent competition, I ended up submitting a different story. Under 1000 words in line with the competition rules. Content Warnings: Witchcraft, mention of the IRS, character death.
Fantasy / Witches & Werewolves	Hidden in the Woods	Series: Hidden in Summary: Her sister is a troll. Well. Not literally. Jane is hopeful that trolls don’t actually exist. She’s new to the witch-hunting business though so she can’t say for certain. Author’s Note: On a bit of fairy tale binge recently and got inspired. Content Warnings: Discussion of serial killing and allusion to murder. Violence against witches including off-screen death.

Mystery / Fantasy	The Case of the Vengeful Ghost	Series: The Iolaire Bay Cases Order: 1 Summary: When the rumoured ghost haunting Iolaire Hall starts to play pranks, Eddie Wiliams is curious to find out the truth behind the vengeful acts. His new university friends are also eager to help as Eddie investigates. But Eddie is only a journeyman mage and his magic might not be enough to help when things turn dangerous. Author’s Note: This is the first of my planned short stories introducing Eddie and his friends. It is also my first story in the Big Moxie Q3 Challenge, Found Family. Content Warnings: References to murder, accidental death and allusion to suicide. Mention of dysfunctional families, child abandonment and neglect. Ghosts and psychics. Pranking.
Mystery / Fantasy	The Case of the Missing Witch	Series: The Iolaire Bay Cases Order: 2 Summary: Eddie Wiliams is trying to stay out of trouble as he returns to University and Iolaire Bay after the Christmas break. When his boss at the cafe goes missing, Eddie finds himself unwillingly drawn into the drama that unfolds after things take a murderous turn. Author’s Note: This is the second of my planned short stories introducing Eddie and his friends. You don’t need to read the first in the series, The Case of the Vengeful Ghost. I am also reusing an original character I created for a fanfic as there are elements of the world-building I did for that fic which I am reusing here. Content Warnings: References to murder, domestic violence, physical assault and child abuse. Discussion of traditional views of sexuality, gender transition, characters may express transphobic views which are not held by the author. Discussion of academic cheating and marital infidelity. Witches and other mystical creatures.
