Walk With Me

Walk with me on a beach,

gold beneath our feet like sunshine

as the sea sparkles blue.

Sit with me in this place,

sipping wine under a palm tree

as warm rain splashes down.

Dance with me in sunlight,

waves shushing a low melody

as our skin blushes hot.

Walk with me on a boat,

wood beneath our feet sturdy still

as the sea shivers cold.

Sit with me down below,

cooking comfort meals together

as we find safe harbour.

Dance with me on a deck,

in dipping diving harmony

as salt air brushes by.

Walk with me on a cliff,

path beneath our feet uneven

as the sea attacks shore.

Sit with me on the edge,

watching seagulls weave above us

as time passes on by.

Dance with me down the steps

to the thump-thump of our own heartbeat

as the sun sets slowly.
